  • World Autism Acceptance Week 2024  |  2nd - 8th April ๐Ÿ’—
    World Autism Acceptance Week aims to draw attention to the 700,000 people living with autism in the UK both to educate those unaware of the condition, & to help make the world a much friendlier place to those who are affected by it. Find out how Care Network supports people living in BwD with autism.

  • Easter Themed Fun in BwD |  Throughout April ๐Ÿฐ
    Get out & about this Easter with a range of activities and events across the borough... Including family fun at Witton Park's Easter Fair, IMO’s Easter Activities, local Town Heritage Trails & fun ways to get Active with Re:Fresh*. (*Available to ages 16+ or those who live, work, has a GP or is in full time education).

  • World Health Day 2024  |  7th April ๐ŸŒ
    World Health Day is celebrated annually, drawing attention to a specific health topic of concern to people all over the world. 'My health, my right’ is this year’s theme - chosen to champion the right of everyone, to have access to quality health services, education & information, as well as safe drinking water, clean air, good nutrition, quality housing, decent working & environmental conditions, & freedom from discrimination.

    Eid al-Fitr marks the end of the holy month of Ramadan & the start of Shawwal, which is the 10th month in the Islamic calendar. The word Eid translates as ‘the festival of breaking the fast’. This festival is a particularly significant time for Muslims in the UK & across the globe, enabling families to get together & share joyous moments.
