Volunteer with us

Become a Volunteer (aka a Local Legend)!

Volunteers make a fantastic contribution to our society. Not only does volunteering help those in need, it positively impacts our community whilst providing many health and wellbeing benefits to the volunteer themselves.

The right volunteer position can help to relieve stress, meet new people, learn new skills, give a sense of pride, inspire others and enables you to enjoy the positive feelings of giving to others...

We are looking for volunteers to join our team here at Care Network, in a number of exciting roles.

Currently, we are keen to provide new volunteering opportunities to anyone from our local disabled community. This includes anyone with Learning Disabilities, Autism or any person that is connected with someone that is disabled (carers, families, friends etc).

Training & new skills for work

Learning new skills and training through volunteering is not only good to help you towards getting into work or changing your career, but is also good for your health and recognised as one of the five ways to wellbeing.

Training and learning whilst volunteering at Care Network will make a good addition to your CV, can help to boost your confidence and support positive emotional wellbeing.
