How We Have Had A Positive Impact On Our Commuinty

Following the release of our Care Network Annual Report, we are pleased to be able to share our latest positive impact figures with you.

Last year Care Network successfully supported the health, wellbeing and independence of 6,858 residents in Blackbrun with Darwen, through making 8,960 referrals / signposts.

We also supported 739 households to access £49,830 worth of support with their fuel bills.

  • 92.8% are more aware of services that are available locally and how to access them
  • 90.1% reported a positive outcome of their contact with Care Network
  • 88.8% stated that they were very likely to use our services again
  • 82.3% reported feeling safer after having used our quality assured services
  • 82.3% reported feeling better supported and less isolated through using our services

We would like to take this opportunity to say a huge thank you to our dedicated team and volunteers. Their hard work and resilience has enabled us to continue supporting our community through particularly challenging times during the pandemic.
