To celebrate Learning Disability Week 2024, we held a special event with our Resolve group here at Care Network Hub.

We were joined by Carly from re:fresh who ran a wonderful 'Dance to Music' session. We also had Angie and Michelle from Above Beyond who held a fun and inclusive craft activity. You can take a look at some of their best dance moves in the video and photos below:

The group really enjoyed the session, showcasing their creative skills. The drawings they created, shown below, explored this year's theme of 'Do you see me?', and what it's like to have a Learning Disability. The drawings allowed us to express some of our emotions linked to our experiences.

Our team were so impressed with the artwork Resolve made - each piece was personal, colourful, moving and insightful. They are currently on display here at The Hub.

We also created handmade fridge magnets and enjoyed a selection of delicious cakes and refreshments.

We'd like to say a huge thank you to everyone involved, and to all the Resolve members that joined us.
